FIELD: technological processes; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: rolling mill comprises four bed plate columns that are fixed to support plate. Feed shafts are installed in bed plate columns without possibility of displacement in axial direction, but with possibility of rotation. Upper and lower ends of feed shafts are equipped with opposite-lead threads. Upper and lower cross beams are installed on feed shafts. Sets of rolls may be adjusted relative to each other with the help of feed shafts. Bed plate columns simultaneously serve as guides for rolls cushions and for installation of bending blocks. Actuating cylinder of short travel is installed between lower cushion of support roll and lower cross beam to create rolling force. Since feed shafts and roll cushions are separately installed in bed plate columns, force transfer to rolls is separated and their cushions are aligned.
EFFECT: lower liability to appearance of periodical longitudinal polythickness of strips.
