FIELD: technological processes; electricity.
SUBSTANCE: components (10, 12) are placed next to each other to form boundary interface (14) between contact surfaces. Local magnet field is applied to at least part of boundary interface (14) between contact surfaces. Local magnet field is perpendicular to direction, in which electron beam (20) passes through boundary interface (14) and is parallel to boundary interface (14). Then electron beam (20) is sent to boundary interface (14) for electron-beam welding of components (12, 14) to produce welded joint (32). Local magnet field controls electron beam (20) as it passes through boundary interface (14) so that components (10, 12) are welded to each other along the whole of boundary interface (14).
EFFECT: possibility to make welding of components from dissimilar metals and to produce high quality seams with deep weld penetration.
