FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding of metal parts in special electrical engineering and can be used for making welded joints of thin-wall parts, operating under conditions of considerable difference of temperatureand pressure on both sides of welded joint. Method of welding includes local heating of welding area with high-energy beam, which is directed to specified section of welding and moved along welded parts. Energy beam is ion beam of specified material with weight ratio of ion to mass of molecules of material of welded parts no less than 10-1 and no more than 10. Welding is performed at ambient pressure not exceeding 10-3 mm Hg.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining strong welds of thin-wall parts due to more deep heating of welded parts.
