FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to rolling of die-rolled rounds and can be implemented at production of rebar A500C. To upgrade level and stability of mechanical properties with simultaneous reduction of manganese concentration in steel the method consists in heating of continuous cast stock, then in hot rolling with specified finishing temperature and accelerated cooling with water; also the total coefficient of stretch at rolling is set not less, than 7.8, the finishing temperature is maintained within the range of 950-1050°C, while cooling with water is carried out to 535-580°C. Rebar is made of steel containing, wt %: 0.14-0.26 C; 0.05-0.30 Si; not more 1.0 Mn; not more 0.3 Cr; not more 0.3 Ni; not more 0.4 Cu; not more 0.05 S; not more 0.04 P; not more 0.012 N; the rest - Fe. At diameter of rebar up to 14 mm steel contains 0.50-0.80 wt % of manganese; at diameter of rebar above 14 mm and up to 18 mm steel contains 0.60-0.90 wt % of manganese; and at diameter of rebar above 18 mm steel contains 0.70-1.0 wt % of manganese.
EFFECT: increased level and stability of mechanical properties at simultaneous reduction of manganese concentration.
