SUBSTANCE: invention relates to moulding fabric for the moulding part of the paper-making machine. Fabric has an upper and lower layer of beam threads, passing in the direction of the movement of the fabric in the machine, and weft threads, passing in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the movement of the fabric in the machine, and also three connecting threads, passing in the direction, perpendicular to the direction of movement of fabric in the machine and intertwined with the upper and lower layers of fabric. Three connecting threads allow for the obtaining a linen weave in the upper layer, which reduces the level of marking of the paper web of the moulding fabric and improves the load bearing capability of the moulding fabric as bases of fibres.
