FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: fabric for paper-making machine comprises the first layer of warp threads, which is produced by the first set of double longitudinal warp threads passing in machine direction and woven with the first set of transverse weft threads passing in direction across fabric motion in machine. Fabric also contains the second layer, which is produced by the second set of longitudinal warp threads woven with the second set of transverse weft threads. Double longitudinal warp threads are internal threads of the first and/or second layer and are woven with the second set of transverse weft threads for adhesion of the second layer to the first one. The second set of longitudinal warp threads produces long overlays on external surface of specified second layer.
EFFECT: improved wear resistance of fabric wear side.
