FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry and processing of clay-salt waste (sludge) of potash plants. Method implies annealing, sorbtion and desorbtion of weight portion of material being analysed. Weight portion is chosen so as to obtain ready-mix solution, any part of which is representative of the whole analysed material sample. Weight portion is annealed under chloridising conditions at 600-950°C. Then acid-soluble compounds of precious metals produced by annealing are selectively dissolved, compounds of precious metals are absorbed from the solution, and desorbed. The advantage of this method is that only weight portion required for particular stage of analysis is used instead of non-representative 3-30 g portions used in conventional analysis procedures. That is, no analysed material is missed during analysis.
EFFECT: no analysed material is missed during analysis.
