FIELD: precious metal technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for jointly transferring platinum group metals and gold into solution. Transfer of indicated metals into acid-soluble form is accomplished by firing at 450-600оС a charge consisting of concentrate, pyrite, and sodium chloride. Resulting ashes are leached with dilute hydrochloric or sulfuric acid to dissolve more than 90% of metals.
EFFECT: increased degree of recovering platinum, palladium, and gold using no toxic reagents.
