FIELD: chemistry; biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular, to immunoengineering, and may be used in digital processing of images of lysed zones on bacterial lawn, which result from antigen-antibody reaction, based on phage label principle (phagoimmunoassay or viroimmunoassay). Phagoimmunoassay results evaluation method implies analysis of lysed zones of indicator crop in plate wells with experimental and reference tests. Plate with experimental and reference tests is subsequently placed into photo or scanning unit to obtain digitised image of lysed zones. Then, each digitised image is processed by means of adaptive filter to obtain outlined individual lysed zones of various size, as well as of merged lysed zones. After that, average total area of lysed zones for experimental and reference samples is determined. When average total area of experimental lysed zones exceeds average total area of reference lysed zones by 5% minimum, phagoimmunoassay is considered positive.
EFFECT: efficient method for evaluating phagoimmunotest results.
