FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of card billet, packet assembly in steel case, packet heating and hot rolling, thermal treatment, dressing, packet disassembly and finishing operations. Manufacture and preparation of card billet prior to pack rolling is done by means of cutting of initial plate of specified thickness into parallelepipeds and cutting of parallelepipeds along inclined plane to produce two identical separate wedge-shaped cards.
EFFECT: reduction of time and expenses in production of wedge-shaped billets, improved metal economy, improved microstructure of wedge-shaped billets.
