FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention elates to metal deformation process field, particularly to method of manufacturing of sheets from high-strength titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V by method of roll rolling. Method includes preprocessing of ingot, cutting of sheets and finishing operations. Preprocessing of ingot is implemented by successive forging or by punching of ingot in β or in α+β areas with receiving of slab. Slab is rolled in roughing and finishing stand with receiving of strip and its winding into roll, with following etching and annealing. Then it is implemented cold rolling of strip by several cycles up to receiving of strip of specified thickness and microstructure with its winding into roll with following etching and annealing.
EFFECT: receiving of specified microcrystalline structure, that provides high level of strength and fatigue characteristics.
