SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes transmitting control signal by the control unit to the vertical travel drive connected with electromagnetic machine, tool and surface being processed. The first feedback loop is connected in between the electromagnetic machine and control unit so that the rotor or electromagnetic machine armature output signal is transmitted to the input of first feedback loop element representing a displacement pickup. The signal from output of the latter is sent to the control unit first input. The second loop is connected so that the signal from the electromagnetic machine stator control winding is transmitted to the input of the feedback loop second element representing a transducer of the inductance variation signal. The signal from the output of the latter is transmitted to the control unit second input. The third loop is connected so that the signal from the tool is transmitted, via the filter, to the input of third feedback loop element representing a pickup monitoring the gap between the tool and workpiece surface. The signal from the output of the latter is transmitted to the control unit third input.
EFFECT: higher quality of produced image.
