FIELD: transport, packing.

SUBSTANCE: in compliance with the invention, during the first and subsequent cycles of packing at depressurisation stage, air is fed in chambers, first, from the receiver, and, then, the chamber is vented into atmosphere. During the second and subsequent cycles, at the stage of pumping out till to preset vacuum, a portion of air is, first removed from the chamber into the receiver due to the vacuum still existing therein, while the remained air portion is pumped out by means of the vacuum pump. To create a deeper vacuum in the said receiver, air is pumped out from the receiver using the said vacuum pump at those stages of the packing cycle of packing where application of the vacuum pump for pumping out of the working chamber is not required. The device incorporating additionally a receiver implements the proposed method. The working chamber is connected with a receiver through controlled bypass valve and is vented to atmosphere through the controlled valve of decompression. The control inputs of valves are connected to corresponding outputs of the control units intended for controlling vacuum pump, package pumping out means and valves. The working chamber communicates, via a pipeline, with the vacuum pump. Note here that the receiver is connected to pipeline by bypass valve and is vented to atmosphere via depressurisation valve. Note that the device comprises additionally the controlled valve included in the pipeline communicating the chamber with the vacuum pump and bypass valve. Control unit can additionally control the added additional valve.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
