FIELD: heating; drying.

SUBSTANCE: present device can be used for drying and treating wood with either antipirant or antiseptic or dye compositions based on convectional-vacuum-pulse technology of cold pressing moisture from porous materials. Device for drying wood comprises drying chamber, joined, using pipes with quick-response valves, to a unit of receivers, located on the main pressure release line of the drying chamber in series. The device also contains liquid storage tank, water or vapour supply system and treatment system. Vacuum pump is connected to the upper point of the receiver, closing the circuit of receivers. The device also comprises radiator system for cooling vapour-gas media in the receivers, formed after pressure balancing in the drying chamber or receiver unit, as well as automated system of injecting either vapour or water or antipirant or antiseptic or dye compositions, connected to the depressurisation system of the drying chamber. Time and energy spent on drying and treating wood is reduced due to radiator cooling of the vapour-gas medium in the receivers and automation of the system of depressurising the drying chamber at the stage of heating and treating wood.

EFFECT: faster process and reduced power input.
