FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electroplating. Electrolyte contains at least one aluminium organic compound of MAlR4 formula or their mixture and alkyl-magnesium compound; where M designates Na, K, Rb or Cs, and R designates alkyl group C1-C10 preferably alkyl group C1-C4. The method of electrolyte production consists in introduction of aluminium organic complex compound of MAlR4 formula and their mixture in case of necessity in combination with tri-alkyl-aluminium and addition of alkyl-magnesium compound. A combination for galvanic sedimentation of aluminium-magnesium alloys by electrolysis contains aluminium-organic complex compounds or alkyl-aluminium compounds and alkyl-magnesium compound.

EFFECT: simple and efficient production of electrolyte for implementation of method of applying aluminium-magnesium coating eliminating stage of conditioning for creation of organic complexes of magnesium.
