FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to building construction, particularly to construction of buildings with added floors and elevators for these floors. The building with added floors and the elevator for these floors is a multi-storey basic building with a top mechanical floor and a flat roof, in which an elevator shaft is made for moving the elevator to the last dwelling floor inclusive, as well as extra floors added on top of the mechanical floor. The building has an attached elevator shaft with an elevator, mounted outside the building on the section from the level of the floor of the last dwelling storey of the basic building to the last added-on storey. In the outer wall of the last dwelling storey of the basic building opposite the attached elevator shaft, there is a doorway for entry into the shaft with an elevator platform on the last dwelling floor of the basic building.

EFFECT: less work on assembling, reduced costs of constructing the superstructure and maximum retention of the structural features of the main building.
