FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is applicable to the oil and gas industry and more specifically to oil field development and can be used to enhance reservoir recovery in heterogeneous oil fields. The method includes: injection and production well drilling; reservoir flooding and oil extraction; revised geology based on drilling and simulation results; and horizontal drilling or sidetracking of existing wells. The method requires that formation zones of different permeability be delimitated and horizontal boreholes be drilled along high permeability formation zones. Sidetracks are then drilled from the horizontal boreholes that are directed to low permeability zones. The horizontal wells subsequently become production wells and the sidetrack wells in low permeability zones become injection wells.
EFFECT: no errors in mobile oil calculations and increased development efficiency in heterogeneous oil fields.
