FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to methods of burning fuel in different heat-using devices and can be used be used in energy, in industry, in transport and everyday life. The method of burning fuel with stabilisation of adiabatic combustion temperature and transmission of heat from combustion products to a heat absorber involves mixing part of waste flue gases with air, used for burning fuel. The resulting air-gas mixture is blown by a ventilator to one of the cavities of the radial-spiral type heat-exchange devices. The whole stream of waste flue gases is drawn through the second cavity of this device. As a result, this stream cools down to 0-60°C, which is 10-20°C above ambient temperature. The air-gas mixture is heated and then, together with fuel, channelled to a burner. Part of cooled waste flue gases is taken for recirculation for mixture with incoming cold air. Stabilisation of combustion temperature and maintenance of the required temperature of combustion products coming to the heat absorber is achieved by varying the quantity of recirculating flue gases.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of burning fuel, widening of the range of regulating temperature of the heating stream coming into the heat absorber, as well as low combustion temperature, reducing the quantity of harmful emissions into the environment with waste flue gases.
