FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: mulching device for forest tree nurseries is designed to consist of a frame with a suspension mechanism, two support wheels and a cylindrical-shaped barrel with solid flat ends and netted lateral surface. Each support wheel consists of a hob, radial spokes and a rim. The barrel is fixedly attached onto the support wheels common shaft. The wheel hobs are represented by continuous thin-shelled cylinders whose diameter is equal to that of the netted barrel they are fixedly attached to all along the perimeter. The solid flat ends are attached on the hobs outside.
EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability and improved performance of the mulching device.
