FIELD: medicine; neurosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: cerebral vessels catheterised. Patient's head is placed on the soft support on the surgical table. While TV monitor control, in frontal projection lower orbit borders are aligned with upper edge of periotic bones thus symmetrically arranging mastoids relative to patient's ramus of mandible. In cross projection upper edges of periotic bones are aligned. Thereafter contrast medium is injected into catheter with followed sequential cerebral angiography.
EFFECT: low-traumatic, simple and fast reproduction of repeated cerebral vascular angiography identical to the original one.
