STRAND SLITTING LINE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B23D19/06

Abstract RU 2348493 C1

FIELD: mechanics; instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: line consists of a body, a recoiler, wind-up drums, drive frame mounted rotary shears and a lead-in multiroll bridle having four horizontal and two vertical rollers and a skirting with screw-and-nut transmissions mounted on the body between the shears shafts so that to enable controllable horizontal and vertical relocation. There is a support mounted on the frame so that to enable relocation in the direction of the shears shaft axles with the housing mounted on the support so that to enable vertical relocation. The horizontal rollers are arranged within planes parallel to the shears shaft axles plane attached in pairs to the deflector and the housing so that to enable the centre-to-centre spacing adjustment. The vertical rollers are attached onto the housing surface both sides of the pair of horizontal rollers which comes to be the first one when viewed in the direction of slitting. The vertical roller that comes to be the first one when viewed in the direction of slitting is rigidly attached to the housing with the second vertical roller mounted on a pivoted lever attached to the slide that is joined to the housing so that to enable relocation in the direction of the shears shaft axles. The slide is connected to the pivoted lever via a spring. Between the shear disks there are removers mounted on pins rigidly attached to the skirting so that to enable unobstructed axial relocation. The pins are positioned both sides of the shears shaft axles plane with the pin axes parallel to those of the shafts.

EFFECT: technological capabilities extension; improved performance and width precision refinement with the blanks produced.
