LINE FOR SLITTING BAND Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: cutting equipment, namely manufacture of band and grid products in plants of metallurgical, machine engineering and building complexes. SUBSTANCE: line includes uncoiler, coiler, tensioning apparatus, multidisc shears carrying on their drive shafts buildup cutting discs provided with strippers for slit bands. Tensioning apparatus is in the form of roller stand with upper and lower rollers mounted with possibility of their mutual contact and provided with means for adjusting their mutual position. Housing of tensioning apparatus is mounted on frame by means of axle normal relative to rotation axes of said rollers and it is provided with means for controlled turning. Strippers for slit bands are in the form of rings arranged between cutting discs with possibility of free axial and radial movements and they are rested upon supporting rollers mounted with possibility of controlled motion.
