FIELD: mechanics; instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: portable impactor tool consists of a housing with a barrel mounted therein with a striker installed inside the barrel. The barrel accommodates a piston and rod group isolated from the striker with an air cushion chamber. The rod is associated with a crank gear wheel. The crank gear wheel is kinematically connected to the input shaft via a controllable cam clutch. The drive half-clutch is attached onto the input shaft with the movable gear half-clutch loosely fitted onto the rigidly fixed shaft coaxial to the input one, continuously clamped to the drive half-clutch with a spring and continuously engaged in the crank gear wheel. The housing also accommodates the cam clutch disengagement mechanism represented by a fork fitted onto the axle so that to enable its rotation via a handle with an integrated position lock element. The input shaft is equipped with an external rotary drive composed of an internal combustion engine, an overload clutch, transfer gearbox and a flexible shaft.
EFFECT: reduced material intensity of the portable impactor tool; minimisation of expenditures related to the tool operation, maintenance and repair; possibility of operation under conditions of stationary electric power supply sources being unavailable.
