FIELD: mining industry; civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: tool has hollow body accommodating motor with output shaft and barrel whose longitudinal axis is square to longitudinal axis of motor output shaft; intermediate member installed for interaction with working tool; hammer installed in barrel for axial motion; piston separated from hammer by air cushion-chamber, and mechanism for moving the piston and having crank kinematically connected with motor output shaft and connecting rod joined with piston. Kinematic connection of crank with motor output shaft is effected by means of planetary reducing gear with two coaxial sun wheels of external and internal gearings with satellites and carriers. Sun wheel with external gearing is kinematically connected with motor output shaft, and sun wheel with internal gearing is connected with crank. Carriers are rigidly connected with body. Each satellite is installed on corresponding carrier for rotation and interaction with sun wheels. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 2 dwg
