FIELD: transportation; aviation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed universal aircraft has two flight decks, control system, fuel tanks and disc shaped carrier body. The body is made from a torus. The central cavity inside the torus is closed by cupola and a bottom, and the compartment for passengers and cargo is inside. The universal aircraft also has a chassis, outer and inner pipes. On the outer pipe there is a annular wing, divided into segments with provision for their displacement and changing the wing section. Along the perimeter of the body of the aircraft, four rings are evenly arranged, on each of which there is a platform. On the platforms there are four engines with a variable trust vector or eight ducted jet engines with provision for displacing the ring up or down and rotating about its axis. Steering wing planes are fixed on the engines.
EFFECT: increased lift thrust and improved aerodynamic properties of the aircraft.
