FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns method of obtaining fluoroalkylated polyvinyl alcohol, involving polyvinylalcohol dissolution in dry dimethylformamide at 80-90°C, with further solution cooling to 5-10°C and mixing with polyfluoroalkylchlorosulfite of formula RFCH2OS(O)Cl, where RF=HCF2CF2, H(CF2CF2)2 at their molar ratio of 1:(10-30), reaction mass heating to 35-40°C and maturing for at least 2 hours, with sulfur dioxide and hydrochloride blown out by inert gas, and final extraction of end product.
EFFECT: simple method of obtaining fluoroalkylated polyvinyl alcohol with fluorine content required to maintain its solubility in water.
