FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in chemical and petrochemical industry. Preliminary thermal pyrolysis of gasoline fraction is performed in two stages in warm pipes of tube heater, obtaining hydrocarbon product and amorphous coke: first at 760÷805 °C for 12÷120 hours, then at 805÷825 °C for 12÷240 hours. Further pyrolysis of ethane fraction is performed together with gasoline fraction at gasoline fraction content in raw hydrocarbon material comprising 5÷30 wt %, at 760÷850 °C and weight ratio of raw hydrocarbon material to water steam = 1.0:0.3÷0.9.
EFFECT: increased output of lower olefins C2-C3 due to enhanced conversion degree of ethane fraction, reduced carbon oxide output while preserving high parametres of catalyst service cycle of furnace in the process of thermal pyrolysis of ethane fraction.
