FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns metallurgy of aluminium alloys and can be used for silumin modification. It is implemented melting of silumin, following heating till the modification temperature and introduction of modifier into melted silumin at modification temperature. Then it is implemented mixing and isolation of silumin melt with modifier. Silumin modification is implemented by phosphorus in amount 0.07% of silumin weight. Modifier is introduces into melt in the form of alloy Cu-10%P, and modification is implemented at temperature for 250-300°C higher of alloy liquidus temperature.
EFFECT: increasing of duration of saving of effect modification of eutectic silumins.
