FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to production of cast alloys, primarily of nonferrous alloys of higher quality. Proposed method comprises introduction of modifying mix into the melt. The latter is composed of d-metal oxide powders of various dispersity of 10-20 nm and 100-1000 nm, ultra dispersed aluminium oxide powder and alkaline metal powder and their compounds at the ratio of the sum of d-metal oxides and ultra-dispersed aluminium oxide powder equal to 25:(1-2) wt %. Note here that modifying mix is introduced in amount of 0.01-0.25% of the charge weight. Said d-metal represents zirconium, titanium, niobium, hafnium, individually or in whatever combination.
EFFECT: higher tightness, strength and ductility.
