FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to machine building, in particular, to piston internal combustion engines and may be used as engine in surface, air and water transport, and also as drive of power plants. According to invention, engine comprises working and compressor cylinders, pistons of which are hingedly connected by means of connecting rods with appropriate crankshafts connected to each other. There are inlet and relief channels equipped with vales on compressor cylinder. Besides, relief channel is connected to working cylinder with outlet channel. Crankshaft of compressor piston is connected to crankshaft of working piston by means of chain or gear transmission with ratio of at least 1:2, which comprises device for change of angle of shafts installation relative to each other.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of internal combustion engine and expansion of its control resources.
