FIELD: heating; drying.

SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the production of materials from damp raw stock and may be used, for example, for brick production using dry compaction method. The bulk material is dried by the method of direct material contacting with the heated surface of heat exchanger. The method includes heating of pressurised water supplied to the drying chamber heat exchanger to the temperature, which is higher water boiling temperature in drying chamber. The next stages of the method provide for bulk material loading and heating on drying chamber heat exchanger. The released steam is directed from drying chamber to compressor, where it is compressed. Then, the steam is condensed in condenser and water is returned to the drying chamber heat exchanger through the pump and heater. According to the invention, the bulk material drying chamber contains multi-stage heat-exchanger, scrapers for bulk material displacing and mixing, bulk material loading and unloading facilities. The scrapers are ensured with reciprocal motion abilities along heat-exchangers and connected with the drive through drawbars. The heat exchangers are implemented as hollow slotted rectangles, while loading and unloading facilities are provided with grips for drying chamber sealing. The above facilities are also ensured with reciprocal motion abilities. The drying chamber is heat-insulated and provided with steam line to remove steam.

EFFECT: reduction of power inputs and simplification of equipment operation.
