FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method includes heat supply to the material, material heating to maximum permissible temperature with further drying to necessary residual humidity, at that flow of wet fine grain material is provided, and it is heated and dried using the pre-heated solid bodies, preferably in form of balls, that continuously under straight flow mode are delivered to the material flow intensively mixed in drum. Under one option unit for the method implementation contains rotating drum, material delivery device, heat generator, material loading and unloading devices, at that unit additionally has heat exchanger to heat the solid bodies, preferably in form of balls, device for heated bodies and wet fine grain material feeding in the rotating drum, devices for separation and transfer of used balls in to the heat exchanger.
EFFECT: reduced dust removal, reduced heat losses with off-gases, and increased efficiency of drying upon decreasing of drying equipment dimensions.
