FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to ferrous metallurgy and may be used for steel production in steel-smelting workshops. The furnace consists of a housing closed with crown and bottom plate lined with fireproof materials. The furnace is provided with one or more laser plants mounted on the crown or furnace walls. The laser plants are ensured with the specific facilities allowing for their continuous circular motion or reciprocal motion within horizontal plate. The furnace housing or crown is linked with a vacuum system via pipeline so that it can be connected when metal degassing starts or disconnected after degassing completion.
EFFECT: improved quality and reduced production cost of smelted steel; reduced capital costs for steel production.
