FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to ferrous metallurgy and may be used for ferroalloys production. The electrical furnace consists of a housing closed with crown and bottom plate lined with fireproof materials. The furnace is provided with one or more laser plants mounted on the crown or furnace walls. The laser plants are ensured with the specific facilities allowing for their continuous circular motion or reciprocal motion within horizontal plate. The furnace housing or crown is linked with a vacuum system via pipeline so that it can be connected when metal degassing starts or disconnected after degassing completion. According to the invention, the quality of smelted ferroalloys is improved and production cost is reduced.
EFFECT: improved quality and reduced production cost of smelted ferroalloys; reduced capital costs for ferroalloys production and improved environmental situation in ferroalloy production workshops.
