FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plants for heat-exchanging processes and may be used in industry, transport and domestic appliances for heat transfer from one coolant to another. The heat-exchanger consists of a vertical cylindrical housing with nozzles for coolant supply and removal. Two or more blocks of heat-exchanging elements are installed one above the other (version 1) or concentrically (version 2) around the vertical axis. Taken together, the blocks form supply manifolds. Each heat-exchanging element consists of two spiral walls provided with spaced projections. The above walls form the internal channel for radial-spiral flow of one coolant. The heat-exchanging elements being taken together in the blocks form the vertical slotted channels for axial flow of the second coolant. The heat-exchanger may be also designed for more than two coolants. The coolant flows are directed due to partitions being installed inside the plant.
EFFECT: reduction of hydraulic coolant flow losses and decrease of power consumption for flow pumping.
