FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: unit includes two alternatively cooled and heated generators-adsorbers each of which represents vertical cylindrical housing inside which heat exchange unit of radial-spiral type is installed. At that, solid adsorbent is loaded to axial slot channels and heat carrier and cold carrier is added in turn to radial-spiral slot channels. Generators-adsorbers are connected in adsorption mode to low pressure gas and cold carrier lines, and in desorption mode - to high pressure gas and heat carrier lines. Conversion of adsorbers-generators from adsorption mode to desorption mode is performed by means of non-return and three-way switching valves.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing efficiency and capacity of units of such type and decreasing overall dimensions and metal consumption.
