FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatus for heat exchange processes and can be used in heat exchangers radial-spiral type. Radial-spiral type heat exchanger comprises vertical housing with inlet and outlet of heat carriers, is equipped with headers for first heat carrier. Inside housing are installed one above other two or more units of heat exchange elements. Each unit is made of vertically arranged heat exchange elements. Each heat exchange element is hollow to form internal radial-spiral slot channels for first heat carrier. Heat exchange elements are arranged to each other to form external vertical slot channels for movement in axial direction of second heat carrier. Units of heat exchange elements are made in form of rectangular prism. Radial-spiral slot channels of heat exchange elements of each unit are made from metal shaped sheets. Slot channels of adjacent units, arranged one above other, for flow of first heat carrier are connected to each other so that movement of heat carrier in one of the blocks is directed from axis of heat exchange unit to periphery, and adjacent unit - from periphery to axis. Radial-spiral type heat exchanger can be made from heat exchange elements, connected in pairs to each other so that movement of first heat carrier at radial-spiral slot channels is directed from axis of heat exchange unit to periphery and then at adjacent in pair of elements from periphery to axis.

EFFECT: technical effect is simplification of heat exchanger design radial-spiral type, as well as high specific heat exchange surface in one of its volume due to possibility of filling volume of heat exchanger units of heat exchange elements.
