SUBSTANCE: invention concerns the device and the method of processing of a digital signal in the portable terminal of wireless communication system with multiple access with orthogonal frequency partitioning of channels (OFDMA). Memory in a processing device stores amount of subcarriers, oozed to the portable terminal, and coefficient of return discrete Fourier transformation (IDFT). The block of return instant Fourier transformation (IFFT) determines each of number of bits for coefficient IDFT and numbers of bits for data according to the amount of subcarriers. The IFFT block carries out multiplication evaluations over coefficient IDFT and data. The controller outputs a signal of a select of the mode, specifying mode of transmission or a reception mode in the IFFT block.
