SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding of cats with diet composition including at least one sulfur-containing antioxidant in approximate amount of 0.8 to 2.2 wt %, at least one omega-3-lipid acid in approximate amount 0.05 to 0.5 wt % and additional antioxidant selected out of group including vitamin E, vitamin C, 1-carnitine and their mixes in approximate amount of 50 to 6000 millionth weight parts, where total amount of sulfur-containing antioxidant, omega-3-lipid acid and additional antioxidant present in the composition affects at least one behavioral character indicating mental deterioration inhibition. Composition includes at least one sulfur-containing antioxidant in approximate amount of 0.8 to 2.2 wt %, at least one omega-3-lipid acid in approximate amount 0.05 to 0.5 wt % and at least two antioxidants selected out of group including vitamin E, vitamin C and 1-carnitine in approximate amount of 150 to 8000 millionth weight parts, where total amount of sulfur-containing antioxidant, omega-3-lipid acid and additional antioxidant present in the composition affects at least one behavioral character indicating mental deterioration inhibition.
EFFECT: improved physiological state of animals.
