FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: stated group of inventions is related to machine building and may be used in mechanical processing of parts. Method for alignment of half-finished parts subject to mechanical processing is realised in alignment device comprising three aligning elements that are distant at equal angles and arranged with the possibility to contact with half-finished part for its displacement into aligned position. Every of aligning elements is arranged with the possibility of displacement in specified radial direction, besides, mentioned radial directions cross each other on geometric axis for alignment of this part. Every aligning element is displaced in appropriate radial direction. Displacement of every aligning facility is controlled and performed autonomously from the other facilities with the help of appropriate drive facilities connected to appropriate facilities for motion transmission that convert rotary motion of every drive facility into reciprocal motion of appropriate aligning element. Position of every aligning device is controlled depending on torsion torque developed by appropriate drive facility until alignment condition is achieved, in which torque forces developed by drive facilities of appropriate aligning elements do not exceed or are not equal to specified threshold value, which indicates that required aligning position of part relative to geometric axis of aligning device. Aligning device is also suggested that acts in compliance with above mentioned method.
EFFECT: provides high extent of alignment accuracy universality.
