FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wheel lathe with lifting-centering system intended for installation in pit below rail head in covered heated rooms, and can be used for lifting and centering of wheelsets and brake disks of rolling stock when processing rolling surface and with maximum load of up to 40 tons per axle. In wheel lathe, comprising lifting and centering system, comprising two symmetrically located rockers with spindle rollers, and two drive posts configured to vertically move and act on the rockers to transmit rotary motion to the treated wheel, each post is made in the form of a trapezoidal screw connected to the shaft of the drive motor, and installed on said screw by means of internal thread of sleeve, which is fixed against rotation and from above is equipped with end support with push rollers.
EFFECT: increasing strength and enlarging possibilities of variation of treatment modes due to developed lifting-centering system.
