FIELD: metal continuous casting on one roll or in space between two rolls for manufacturing thin metallic belt. SUBSTANCE: casting roll includes arranged coaxially sleeve and jacket, means for joining sleeve with jacket in axial and peripheral directions and also means for supporting and centering jacket onto sleeve in radial direction. Axial joining means are realized due to axial rest of jacket upon sleeve strictly in mean plane of roll along it. Centering means are in the form of elastic cone member arranged between jacket and sleeve only near edge. EFFECT: material economy, simplified working at manufacturing due to use of low-cost and easily changeable parts of roll jackets. 13 cl, 5 dwg
