FIELD: packing industry.
SUBSTANCE: pack with a cover and a tongue comprises an outer box with its upper end open, an inner packing placed inside the outer box and enclosing cigarettes with filter, and a cover with a tongue to open/close the outer box open end. The front wall of the outer box is equipped with a groove where the narrow end of the cover tongue is fitted when the tongue is laid over the front wall and the narrow end is buried in the front wall.
EFFECT: simplifying the pack production procedure, reducing its price, providing for the protection against falsification.
