METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING ORGANIC AND MINERAL SUBSTANCE INTO LIQUID AND GASEOUS FUEL Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC C10B53/00 C10G1/00 C10B53/02

Abstract RU 2349624 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to the pyrolysis method of processing organic and/or mineral raw material into liquid and gaseous fuel through heating without access to oxygen in a processing chamber in the presence of cold-plasma high-frequency discharge, obtaining pyrolysis products in form of gaseous fuel, which is subsequently condensed into liquid fuel and a solid residue. The raw materials are put onto a conveyer in a sealed reactor and are processed on the conveyer in a plasma discharge arc at 500-1500°C temperature and power input of 0.2-0.6 kWh per 1kg of raw material and processing rate of 0.1-10 tonnes of raw material per hour. The device for pyrolysis processing organic and/or mineral raw material into liquid and gaseous fuel has a tank for intake of processed material, a feeder, a processing chamber, storage container for solid residue and a device for condensing fuel. The processing chamber is a sealed reactor, in which there is a conveyer for moving raw material from the tank to the storage container of solid residue, with output of 0.1-10 tonnes of raw material per hour. Above the conveyer, there is plasmatron, combining the functions of the device for generating high frequency discharge plasma and the device for high-speed heating raw material to 500-1500°C with electrical power 180-600 kW per tonne of processed raw materials in one hour.

EFFECT: reduced energy expenditure of processing, increased rate of processing organic and mineral raw material, increased output of the device.
