FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed roll features a new element, i.e. a steel plate with electrically-driven vibrator resting upon the roll inner surface via a system of steel rollers and running free over the aforesaid surface under action of moments resulted from the said roll turn. The steel plate is suspended on the roll shaft with the help of spring-loaded suspensions and roller bearings. The roll is fitted on the said shaft supported by roller bearings with rubber shock-absorbing rings. The roll shaft is mounted on the vibration roll frame with the help of two swivel links and two hydraulic cylinders. The said steel plate activated by aforesaid electrically-driven vibrator via the roller system allows efficient penetration of lugs into frozen surface of the marsh bad as if by nailing up.

EFFECT: accelerating the preparation of the bed and increasing the efficiency of the process, especially, in consolidation of water-logged and non-cohesive soils.
