YANSUFIN SHIELDED ESCAPE STAIR WITH VERTICAL FLIGHTS AND LIFTS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC E06C9/00 

FIELD: construction industry.

SUBSTANCE: shielded fire escape consists of load-carrying frame with load-carrying end enclosures hinged thereto, which are made of rectangular grid frames hinged to each other, stair flights with half-landings, front enclosures made of rectangular meshes hinged to each other, and clamps with end enclosures. Front stair enclosures facing the building comprise shielded plates made from heat-proof material, on which there provided are door openings made of the same heat-proof material and opened inward the stair well. On load-carrying frame from the building side there attached is horizontal "п"-shaped tube with punched holes directed to shielded plates; at that perforated tube is blanked off on one side in longitudinal symmetry axis. To the other side of perforated tube there attached is a tube bend directed downwards, and on the end of that tube fixed is a quick-detachable Bogdanov/Rott nut, and on adjacent half-landings in the corners of stair well there made are holes with diameter of not less than 100 mm with narrow annulus with chamfers whereinto passed is a fire-hose equipped with Bogdanov/Rott nuts on its ends. At that fire-hose length is equal to stair height, and is connected to "п"-shaped perforated tube with Bogdanov/Rott nuts, and the other fire-hose of the same length is passed into holes on half-landings and is blanked off from above, and suspended on load-carrying frame or a plug of perforated tube; at that between two landings there provided are shutoff cocks with fire-hoses and fire nozzles, and stair flights are made vertical at right angle to half-landings.

EFFECT: stair weight decrease, possibility of re-locating the stairs along the building perimeter, and affording access to fire extinguishing from stair landings.
