FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling bores from surface, preparing and igniting of underground gas-generator, withdrawing of generated gas and associated de-gassing of overlying massif. First there is evaluated the position of the primary arches for opening an undermined massif with the underground gas generator; de-gassing bores are drilled into tops of the said arches. Also the distance between degassing bores B is evaluated from a mathematic expression.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of coal beds gasification with associated degassing by combining gasification and degassing processes and utilisation of massif unloading effect at underground gas-generator operation.
