FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mining industry, namely to methods of underground gasification of steep and steeply inclined gaseous coal series. Method involves well-drilling, preparation and ignition of underground gas generators with power gas withdrawal, and carbon rock degassing. Degassing holes are drilled by interburden layers that is accompanied with simultaneous series gasification within prepared block thus advancing combustion faces of overlying coal bed relative to underseams by distance within radius of rock heating with combustion face.

EFFECT: provided concurrent degassing within gasification process and improved work concentration due to simultaneous coal bed gasification in the prepared block.
