FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to optical spectrum shaping techniques and can be used in atomic emission, atomic absorption analysis devices, as well as in other spectrophotometric devices. Method involves input light beam transmission through entrance slit. Then light transmitted through the slit is wavelength split by primary concave grating. Required spectral regions are delivered through output windows. Light beam transmitted through primary grating, however not expanded into additional concave grating is directed. Additional grating is arranged towards convergent light beam transmitted through primary grating on the axis of convergent light beam between primary grating and convergent beam focus.
EFFECT: development of new optical scheme enabling to produce compact spectrometers with high-quality spectral analysis of wide spectral range.
