FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for of vacuum ultraviolet or soft x-ray radiation spectrometry. Invention summary consists in that spectrometer has inlet slot, sliding incidence concave diffraction grating (CDG) and image recorder, on inlet surface of which spectrum is generated, inlet slot is arranged inside Rowland circle, and image recorder input surface crosses spectral lines focusing surface twice, corresponding to inlet slot position, displaced from Rowland circle, near said surface minimum distance from the from CDG center located on double Rowland circle. In preferred version, image recorder comprises MCP detector with fluorescent screen, optically interfaced with CCD camera.

EFFECT: wider operating spectral range and higher spectral resolution in it with provision of reliability and convenience of its operation, including in high time resolution spectra registration modes.
